Board of Directors

Paul Harrison, President
Paul owns and operates Prairie View Farm, a 500 acre cash grain enterprise. Paul is an avid proponent of no-till. Paul has served on the president of the board of directors for the North Central Soybean Research Program, president of the Wisconsin Soybean Marketing Board, and chair of the Agribusiness Council of the Greater Menomonie Area Chamber of Commerce.

Ray Dreger, Secretary/Treasurer
Ray is the secretary and treasurer of the Co-op. He operates a 420-acre crop farm and is CEO of Seeds & Stuff Farm Market in Colfax, Wisconsin. He is a board member of Dairyland Power Cooperative and Assistant Secretary of Dunn Energy Board of Directors. Ray is a certified Professional Agronomist and Certified Crop Advisor and holds a MS in Agronomy and Plant Genetics from the University of Minnesota.

Lawrence Lagowski, Director
Mr. Lagowski serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Indeck Energy Services, Inc.

Robert Wright, Director
Mr. Wright has served as the president, chief executive officer and a principal shareholder of Murex N.A. since May 1992. Murex is a marketer of gasoline "blendstocks," such as fuel grade Ethanol, MTBE, Toluene, Methanol and Alkylate, to independent and major refiners in the United States. Mr. Wright is a graduate of Ohio State University with a degree in chemical engineering and the University of Toledo with a masters in business administration.

Steve P. Myers, Director
Mr. Myers also currently serves as President of Capitaline Advisors, LLC, a private equity investment management firm specializing in renewable energy investments and one of our principal shareholders.  Prior to serving as President, Mr. Myers served as Managing Director of Capitaline Advisors from 2003 to December 2005.  Mr. Myers also serves as President of Myden Co., a holding company that owns real estate and other investments, a position he has held since 1996.

Mr. Myers has over 30 years of commercial finance and investment experience. Before joining Capitaline, Steve directed merger & acquisition activities at First Midwest Financial in Storm Lake, Iowa. Prior to FMF, he was President of Brookings Federal Bank which he took public and subsequently negotiated its sale to FMF. Mr. Myers has also been Trust Dept Head at First National Bank in Brookings, South Dakota and VP Trust Officer at First Trust Company in York, Nebraska where he built key client relationships and was responsible for investment management activities.

Mr. Myers serves on several community, non-profit and church boards. Steve is currently the Secretary of the Brookings Utility Board and is a Board Member of the East Central Multi District Advisory Board, Junior Achievement, and St. Thomas More Finance Committee. Steve received his B.S. in Business Management from the University of South Dakota. He is also a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas.

Steve Bensend
Steve is an independent consultant focusing on soil testing and analysis. He also operates Precision Planters Service, which services and repairs planter meters. Steve holds a BA in Business Administration and marketing from Lakeland College and a Masters Degree in Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College. Colonel Bensend currently serves as Deputy Commander of the 32nd Infantry Brigade and is currently deployed to South East Asia in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Dick Bauer
Richard farms 760 acres in Pepin County, growing wheat, corn, soybeans, rye and hay. He has served on the board of directors of the Wisconsin Corn Promotion Board, Pepin County Human Services, and Farm Credit Services. Richard has served on the school board of his local parish school and was selected the Pepin County Farm Management Club Outstanding Farmer of the Year for 2001.

Lee Carlson
Lee is a third generation farmer who has raised hogs, fed cattle, and currently runs a 1600-acre cash grain operation with his son. He has over 40 years of farming experience.
