In the afternoons of October 6th and 7th, about 1600 members, guests and general public celebrated the startup of Western Wisconsin Energy's ethanol plant. Members on Friday afternoon enjoyed a fine chicken dinner and went on plant tours. On Saturday afternoon, as well as tours being given, Secretary of DATPC Rod Nilsestuen also spoke to the group. Many positive comments were made about how neat, clean and nearly odor-free the plant is.
